The accommodations at Kastara were top-notch, particularly the deluxe room, which was spacious, stylishly furnished, and offered a stunning view of the jungle. The staff were exceptionally attentive and went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. Additionally, the dining experiences were delightful, with some of the best food that I encountered during my time in Bali. The hotel's unique design and tranquil location away from central Ubud greatly contributed to a refreshing work retreat.

Unfortunately, the breakfast experience was quite disappointing. The service was slow and inconsistent, with errors in our orders multiple times. It felt frustrating to spend over an hour waiting for breakfast each morning, which impacted our overall enjoyment during our stay.

Positive, I had a fantastic stay! The Royal Suite with Pool and Jungle View was stunning, and the breakfast options were delicious. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and the spa treatments, like the Balinese Boreh massage, were a highlight. Had the best time relaxing by the pool! 🌴

The real deal or a total steal?

The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. The views from the rooms and the location were stunning, making every moment feel special.

Yet, reaching nearby amenities requires a vehicle, which can take extra time. some services were slower than expected.

Oh man, the food here was truly delicious! The restaurant served some fantastic meals – we dined multiple times and everything was finger-licking good. Plus, the private pool room? Absolute luxury! Not to mention, the attentive service made each moment special.

Now, walking 45 minutes to downtown Ubud after a long day can get a bit tiring. A shuttle to the center would’ve been a fab touch, saving us from the climb back after an adventure.

We had a fantastic time enjoying the beautiful views from our spacious room and the stunning infinity pool. The attentive service made our stay even more special, especially during the private dinner on the boat that offered exquisite food and an unforgettable atmosphere. While the breakfast could use more variety, we thoroughly loved our experience here overall.

The villa offered a stunning view, complete with a private balcony and a beautiful bath tub perfect for relaxation. The staff demonstrated an exceptional level of care, and the breakfast spread, including delightful pastries, was a highlight of each morning. However, there was a lack of variety in the dining options during lunch and dinner, which could have enhanced the overall culinary experience. Additionally, the noise from nearby traffic at times affected the tranquil atmosphere that we were seeking.

I loved lounging by the stunning infinity pool and enjoyed the relaxing massage at the spa. The beautiful top bath on our balcony had a breathtaking view, and while the coffee plantation tour was a nice surprise, I wish we could have spent more time shopping.
